01 — Overview

Wellthority is a Canadian health-and-benefits content site that answers the questions people actually ask about their coverage — what Alberta Blue Cross for Seniors really covers, how the Canadian Dental Care Plan compares to the Alberta Fee Guide, what hearing-aid support each province offers, and more. The goal from day one was to build a durable content asset that ranks in Google AND gets pulled to the front by short-form video.

02 — The Challenge

Health-and-benefits search is dominated by government pages and legacy insurers with massive domain authority. A new site cannot win by publishing generic "top 10 benefits" articles — Google will bury it. The site needed a distribution engine to seed initial demand, and content sharp enough that the traffic actually converted into rankings once Google picked it up.

03 — What We Did

The approach

01

Wrote one authoritative long-form article per specific coverage question, structured around exactly how people search: "What health services are actually covered", "Why you get billed the gap", "Coverage by province". Not vague overviews.

02

Posted daily TikToks explaining each article in 30–60 seconds, targeted to the exact demographics who need the answer — seniors on Blue Cross, families comparing dental plans, adults navigating ADHD assessment.

03

Used TikTok comment threads and stitched replies as a real-time keyword research feed — the questions people asked in comments became the next articles.

04

Built each article with proper Schema, TL;DR summaries at the top, and internal links between related coverage topics so Google saw a real content hub, not a scatter of one-offs.

04 — Delivered

What's live now

  • A cluster of authoritative coverage guides on the specific topics driving search: Alberta Blue Cross for Seniors, Canadian Dental Care Plan vs Alberta Fee Guide, Hearing Aid Coverage by Province, BC PharmaCare 2026, and Adult ADHD Assessment in Alberta.
  • A daily TikTok cadence tied 1-to-1 to article topics — every video links to the exact guide it explains.
  • A content-refresh loop where TikTok comments feed the next article brief, so the site is always answering the newest real question.
  • Article-level Schema (Article, FAQPage, HowTo where relevant) and TL;DR summaries built in so AI answer engines can quote the site directly.

05 — The Result

From a standing start to real, measurable Google presence in 90 days. Multiple articles now surface in search where the site previously did not exist at all — including two pages that went from zero clicks to top-of-list in a single month. The TikTok-to-article loop is doing exactly what it was designed to do: create the demand, then capture it.
